Louis Leterrier to Direct Sci-Fi Horror Film ‘11817’ as it Launches Sales at Cannes

The sci-fi horror film, 11817, is set to be directed and produced by Louis Leterrier (Fast X) with a script written by Matthew Robinson (The Invention of Lying). The film follows a family of four who are mysteriously trapped inside their house indefinitely. As they run out of modern luxuries and essentials, the family must rely on their resourcefulness to survive and outsmart whoever or whatever is keeping them captive.

Casting for the film is currently underway and will be produced by Leterrier’s Carrousel Studios, Rocket Science, Thank You Studios, Chernin Entertainment, and 3 Arts Entertainment. Various producers are involved in the project including Leterrier, Thomas Benski, Omar Sy, Lars Sylvest, Kori Adelson, Oly Obst, Thorsten Schumacher, and Joe Neurauter. Cecile Gaget is executive producing for Carrousel Studios. Rocket Science will finance the project and handle foreign sales while CAA Media Finance represents domestic rights.
