Lakers Comeback from 19-Point Deficit, Defeat Bucks in Double OT Thriller without LeBron James

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers secured a remarkable double-overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, without their star player LeBron James. The team was led by Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves in the 128-124 win, overcoming a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

Davis had an outstanding game, recording a career-high 34 points, 23 rebounds, four blocks, two steals, and two assists in 52 minutes of play. Reaves also played pivotal roles in leading the Lakers to victory with a triple-double of his own, contributing 29 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. D’Angelo Russell also had a strong performance with 29 points and 12 assists.

The trio of Davis, Reaves and Russell scored all but two of the Lakers’ points in the fourth quarter, erasing a significant lead held by the Bucks. Despite their impressive performance, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s struggles at the free-throw line hindered the Bucks as they lost control in second overtime.

Lillard finished with just 27 points on tough shooting night on 9-of-29 from field and 3-of-14 from beyond three point line. The Lakers’ victory marked their second win this month against the Bucks without James following a March 8th win where Russell scored an astonishing 44 points.
