Rafael Reports Record Sales, Introduces New Missile Defense System Amid Business Relocation Boost

Rafael, the Israeli state defense concern, has reported its financial results for 2023, showing a record sales of 14 billion shekels, which is a 21% increase from the previous year. The company’s order portfolio stands at 52 billion shekels, with 57% coming from foreign customers and 43% from the Israeli Ministry of Defense. To top it all off, Rafael closed out the year with a net profit of NIS 588 million, representing a 17% increase from the previous year.

One of Rafael’s major deals in 2023 was selling the David’s Sling missile defense system to Finland for 1.3 billion shekels. Additionally, the company introduced the world’s first interceptor missile for supersonic missiles, Sky Sonic. They also made significant progress in developing the Shield of Light laser missile defense system.
