Former Syracuse Basketball Player Arrested on Drug Charges in Miami as Federal Agents Raid Rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Properties

Brendan Paul, Former Syracuse player, arrested on drug charges for allegedly being a courier for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Miami-Dade police records recently revealed that former Syracuse guard Brendan Paul was arrested on drug-related charges in Miami. The arrest occurred as federal agents were raiding rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an alleged sex trafficking investigation.

Although Paul was released on bond, he is scheduled for a hearing in April. The timing of his arrest coincided with the raid of Combs’ properties, but they are not related. However, allegations have emerged linking Paul to Combs’ sex trafficking case. In a federal lawsuit filed in February, it was claimed that Paul worked as Combs’ “mule,” acquiring and distributing drugs and guns.

Combs has denied these allegations, and Paul’s attorney has stated that they intend to address the issues in court rather than in the media. Despite his brief tenure at Syracuse, Paul’s name has now become associated with Combs’ legal troubles.
