Empowering Business Leadership for a Sustainable Future: A Workshop Hosted by Yampa Valley Sustainability Council and Steamboat Springs Chamber

‘Free Lunch Workshop on Business Leadership for Climate Change on Wednesday’

Nonprofit Yampa Valley Sustainability Council and Steamboat Springs Chamber are hosting a “Business Leadership for Climate” free workshop from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Wednesday. The event will take place at Routt County Health and Human Services Community Room (135 Sixth St.) in downtown Steamboat Springs.

The workshop is the second in a series highlighting the programs of the Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley, which is part of the larger Colorado Green Business Network. The focus of this session will be on how businesses can benefit from state-level recognition.

During the workshop, participants will learn about navigating the recognition application process and discover strategies for accumulating points towards certification. By becoming certified, businesses can establish themselves as leaders in sustainability and cater to the growing consumer demand for eco-conscious products and services.

Registration is required for this event at YVSC.org/yvsc-events, but it’s open to everyone who wants to attend. Lunch will also be provided by Hypnotic Chicken with energy bars from Bar-U-Eat.
