Energy Transfer signs on as jersey patch sponsor for the Texas Rangers

Energy Transfer, a Dallas-based energy infrastructure company, has been announced as the first jersey patch sponsor of the Texas Rangers in a new multiyear deal. The partnership includes an expanded marketing presence with ballpark signage and radio network inventory. This new jersey patch sponsorship is part of a growing trend in MLB, with 19 teams featuring similar deals heading into the upcoming season. These deals are required to have a minimum commitment of three years.

The circular patch featuring Energy Transfer’s logo will be placed on the right sleeve of all six Rangers jerseys. The patch will debut at the Rangers’ season opener against the Cubs at Globe Life Field. The circle patch will be in Rangers blue on the home jerseys and in white on the road jerseys, highlighting the continued integration of sponsorships in professional sports and the importance of brand visibility for companies like Energy Transfer.

This partnership showcases how sports teams are increasingly working with corporate partners to create unique and impactful marketing opportunities. As the Rangers kick off their season with their new jersey patch sponsor, fans can expect to see more collaborations between sports teams and corporate partners in the future.
